Against the Velvet of the Long Goodbye
MINUS SPACE, Brooklyn, NY
Nov. 1 – Dec. 21, 2013 Against the Velvet of the Long Goodbye, my second solo exhibition at MINUS SPACE, featured a site-sensitive installation consisting of colored flood lights, white vinyl rain curtain, and live performance on electric guitar. The exhibition opened with a performance by Pete Galub. The title of the installation is borrowed from Galub’s song Crying Time. In addition to the installation, the exhibition included a Plexiglas edition and vinyl wall pieces.
